A Swiss deck watch of the state railway carrier of Romania “C.F.R.” (“Căile Ferate Române”) with 36h power reserve indicator, circa 1919.
Nickel polished case, the back lid with an engraved depiction of a steam locomotive. Signed enamel dial with Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, 24h indicator and blued spade hands. Frosted gilt 3/4 plate movement with 16 jewels, chatoned centre wheel, gold screw compensation balance and cam type fine adjusting device.
