A very fine Swiss gold, enamel and diamond-set hunting-cased lever pocket watch made for the Ottoman market, circa 1880.
Fine lever movement, long moustache lever. Gold florally engraved dial with Ottoman numerals, subsidiary seconds and steel filigree hands. 18K gold case, translucent dark blue enamel over engine turning on both sides, the front with gold applied decoration lavishly set with diamonds depicting a branch with leaves, a bird and an arrow, the back with an applied engraved gold flower, the band engraved, the bezels decorated with purple and translucent red enamel. Cuvette signed and numbered.
