A  fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced dress watch with cylinder movement and engraved case and dial, circa 1830. The solid case features a bezel and back rim with vermicelli decoration, a fluted band, an engine turned back and hinged gilt cuvette. Silver guilloché dial with painted radial Roman hour numerals, outer minute divisions, a center engraved with floral decoration and yellow gold moon hands. Gilt brass movement with four jewels, a cylinder escapement, three arm steel balance and blued steel flat balance spring.
