A very fine and elegant oval 18 Carat yellow gold diamond-set skeletonized keyless dress watch, made by Audemars Piguet in Genève, Switzerland circa 1980. Two body case with a twist design, sapphire crystals, decoration bezel and bow and glazed on both sides.
Transparent dial with outer movement skeletonized twist design decoration, outermost onyx and black painted gold feuille hands. 14 Carat movement with engraved Geneva striping decoration plates, skeletonized, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, self-compensating flat balance spring and an index regulator.
