Gold, enamel  and pearls verge watch

A very rare and exquisite gold enamel pendant form watch, studded with half pearls “The French Tulip”circa 1800.
A gold, enamel and half pearls case, enamel dial, full plate movement, verge escapement, chain/fusee, three-arm brass balance.
The hinged enamel petals have been painted true to life, the lower part of the flower is decorated with translucent red enamel on engine-turned ground, with green Champlevé leaves growing from a stalk. A ring of half pearls runs around the middle section of the flower, with four lugs attached for short gold chains that are suspended from a single ring.
