–
A very fine example of a Swiss minute repeater with chronometer class movement stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva poinçon. It is very unusual to find a watch with a minute-repeating chronograph that bears the poinçon de Geneve mark on the movement, signifying that this watch has been awarded a chronometer standard rating. Any added complications in a watch mechanism can adversely affect the timekeeping, thus the present watch is unusual in achieving chronometer standard timekeeping.
