Caliber Jones
A Caliber Jones (or Jones Calibre) refers to the first, highly robust, and historically significant pocket watch movements produced by the International Watch Company (IWC) in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, beginning around 1870–1872. They are named after Florentine Ariosto Jones (F.A. Jones), an American engineer and watchmaker who founded IWC in 1868 with the aim of combining Swiss craftsmanship with modern American industrial manufacturing techniques.
