A German silver digital jumping hour pocket watch, circa 1890. A silver open faced, keyless, winding round shaped pocket watch. An engine turned case back with in the centre a circle. White enamel dial with apertures for the Arabic numerals, with subsidiary seconds at 6, patented digital display. A gilded brass movement, going barrel, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel index regulator. A rhodium plated movement, going barrel, straight line lever escapement, uncut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel index regulator. The dial, case and movement and signed.
