A fine French gilt metal painted-on enamel and paste-set pocket watch, circa 1810. The bezel is set with pastes, the back is painted on enamel and the paillon decorated scene of a young couple in a landscape with a cupid at their side, and a paste-set border. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions and Arabic 15-minute numerals and blued steel Breguet hands. matte gilt, full plate, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, pierced and engraved continental cock with polished steel endplate, silver regulation dial. Dial and movement signed.
