A fine Swiss gilt metal and enamel key wind heart-shaped pocket watch with gilt metal chatelaine, circa 1820. Gilt full plate verge movement spuriously signed P.G.Huaut, Geneva, silvered regulation disc and central pierced and engraved balance cock.
White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and outer minute markers, blued steel hands.
Engraved heart-shaped gold plated case, bow and stem with paste set edges front and back, the back also with enamel painted scene depicting two lovers, together with monogrammed winding key and gilt metal chatelaine. Dial and movement signed.
