Swiss gold open faced cylinder watch with champlevé enamel decoration, circa 1830. This watch features a gilded movement with a cylinder escapement, signed Aubert, Genève. Its gilt engine turned dial displays Roman numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, and Breguet style hands.  The gold open faced case has polychrome enamel bezels with foliate decoration. The back of the case is centred with a champlevé enamel design depicting a vase, a bird, and flowers. Additionally, the hinged gold cuvette is numbered 1806 and bears the maker’s mark MF(?), while the inside of the case back is also numbered 1806 and bears the same maker’s mark.

The movement is running. The case and enamel are in good condition overall. The dial has some discolouration consistent with age. There is some loss to the numerals of the subsidiary seconds.
