–
A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold and enamel miniature lady’s pocket watch with chain and key, circa 1830. The watch features a key wound cylinder movement. It boasts an engine turned silvered dial with Roman numerals and pink gold hands. The case is made from 18 carat yellow gold, intricately designed with polychrome enamel floral motifs. Accompanying the watch is a short chain, decorated in gold and enamel, with a gold and enamel key.  The watch includes a signed cuvette and a hinged back. The chain measures approximately 130 mm.

The case is in generally good condition, showing some evidence of restoration and minor losses to the black enamel. There are also enamel losses on the key. However, the primary enamel decoration remains in good condition. The dial exhibits signs of wear and visible oxidation consistent with its age. The balance staff swings but will require servicing at the buyer’s discretion.
The movement is currently not operational.
