A decorative gold enamel verge pocket, circa 1770. Gold enamel case, glazed back cover, on the back cover a polychrome enamel miniature painting against opaque black enamel background, gallant scene and two vases with opaque multi-coloured and translucent cobalt blue flowers. Oval miniature enamel medallion with landscape scene below the pendant, half-pearl-set bezel. Dial is enamel, Arabic numerals, gold hands. Full plate movement, keywind, frosted, gilt, signed, chain/fusee, round pillars, blued screws, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, engraved pierced balance bridge, large silver regulator disc.
