A charming Swiss 18 carat gold and champleve enamel pocket watch, circa 1830.
The case, pendant and bow are entirely decorated with radial gold foliage and white champleve enamel flowers on a black champleve enamel ground. Glazed aperture for the eccentric dial in the front cover and a hinged gold cuvette. Silver, engine turned dial, radial champlevé Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring, outer minute divisions. Blued steel Breguet hands. Matte gilt movement, jewelled cylinder escapement with plain three arm balance, flat balance spring, and index regulator. Case numbered.
