A Swiss gold open faced keyless lever chronograph watch with register and tachymeter scale, circa 1949. The watch features a lever movement with a manual winding column wheel. It has a gold dial, a railway timer in a silver flange, and an external tachymetry scale painted in black and blue. Arabic numerals in black are paired with blued steel spear hands, and a small seconds subdial is positioned at 6 o’clock. The centre hand indicates seconds for the chronograph, and the minute counter (up to 30 minutes) is located at 12 o’clock.

The case is 18 carat yellow gold with a smooth bezel, oval bail, fluted crown, and clip on back. Both the dial and movement are signed. It is accompanied by a warranty bulletin, At the sapphire of the east, mentioning a date of sale of July 8, 1949.
