High quality Breguet movement, repeating the quarter hours, worked by one hammer on the case rim, virgule escapement, temperature compensation.
White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, professional restored, blued steel Breguet hand. Engine turned case, Paris Hallmark for 1797, casemaker punch Jean Louis Joly. Cuvette and movement with identical number, dial signed.
