A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold keyless hunting cased pocket watch, made by Borel & Courvoisier in Neuchâtel, circa 1880. Cover and case back are polished, and a fluted case band. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and blued steel Breguet hands. A nickel plated movement, going barrel, gold screwed chatons, straight line equilibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index regulator with long tall. Signature on the case and movement.
