A Swiss gentleman’s fine pocket watch with chronograph, circa 1926.
18 carat gold case with engraved monogram, signed gold dome, case maker punch mark “PD” and pusher for chronograph at “12”. Signed enamel dial with Arabic “Art Deco” numerals, auxiliary seconds at “9”, 30 min. counter, gold Breguet hands and center chronograph hand. 4/5 plate movement, rhodium-plated, “fausses côtes” decoration, finely ground, bevelled chronograph steel parts, monometallic screw balance.
