A yellow gold open faced watch, made in 1910. Ultra thin manual winding lever movement, 18 jewels, bi metallic compensation balance.
White enamel dial, painted black Breguet numerals, Louis XV hands, subsidiary seconds, outer minute track with red Arabic divisions, 18k yellow gold open faced case, finely engraved bezel, personally inscribed cuvette, highly engraved case back with foliate centered by a lion’s head, case, dial, cuvette, and movement signed.

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming the year of manufacture in 1910, and sale on August 11, 1922 with Breguet numerals, and the case back entirely decorated with engraved ornament.
Patek Philippe began engraving cases and dials in the 18th century. The art of designing such an intricate motif takes not only time, but also the utmost precision. This watch features a lovely white enamel dial, with a depiction of a lion engraved on the caseback. This elaborate sketch is not commonly seen, making this an excellent and rare representation of an early engraved pocket watch by the firm
