A Swiss, yellow gold hunting-cased chronometer watch, circa 1870, retailed by Losada. Gilt, half plate, spring footed detent escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, free-sprung blued steel helical balance spring with inner and outer terminal curves, gold chatons, 18-carat yellow gold cuvette.
White enamel dial, black painted Roman numerals, subsidiary dial for constant seconds, outer minute track, and blued steel halberd hands.
18 Carat yellow gold engine turned case, foliate to the band. Dial and movement signed.
