A fine Swiss 18K gold, enamel and pearl-set open-faced lady’s pendant watch, circa 1810. An Empire case, reeded band, the front cover decorated with a painted on enamel pansy flower with gold paillon foliage below, on a translucent aquamarine guilloché enamel ground, the back decorated to match with a swan surrounded by paillon foliage, pearl-set bezels. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. A matte gilt movement, fuse and chain, verge escapement, micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental balance cock, silvered regulation dial.
