A Swiss gold hunting cased quarter repeating lever watch Circa 1830. This watch features a gilded movement with a lever escapement and a bimetallic compensation balance. It includes two steel hammers that strike a gong. The signed white enamel dial displays Roman numerals and an outer minute track, complemented by blued steel moon hands and a subsidiary seconds dial. Encased in 18 carat gold with engine turned covers, it bears the case maker’s mark PM within a rectangular cartouche. The gold cuvette is signed and numbered by Denis Blondel A Genève.

The movement is functioning well. The dial is in good condition. The glass is loose and has a small chip. The case shows scuffs throughout. There is some wear on the engine turning, but it maintains good definition overall. The cuvette has heavy scratches.
