A fine and unusual yellow gold hunting cased minute repeating chronograph watch with equestrian themed engraved case, circa 1880. Nickel lever movement, highly jeweled, two hammers repeating on two gongs, column wheel chronograph, white enamel dial, painted black radial Roman numerals, blued steel Spade hands, subsidiary seconds, outer minute track, outermost minute and 1/5 second divisions, 18k yellow gold chased and engraved case, the front lid engraved with two riders on horseback within a landscape, the reverse engraved with a hunting trophy, both within in engraved scrolling borders, chased band, slide for the repeater at 6 o’clock, gold and glazed cuvettes, case, dial, movement and cuvette signed.
