The smallest known to us Patek Philippe half hunting cased watch with gold/ enamel case, circa 1870. An 18K gold, half hunting case à-goutte, back blue enamelled, representation of a flying dove, signed and numbered dome, early Patek Philippe crown winding movement with rare locking device of the crown (winding only in one direction possible), wolf’s toothing, cylinder escapement, extraordinary beautiful enamel dial with golden cartouche decoration, blued steel hands, in working order and in excellent condition, minimal, highly professional enamel repair of small imperfections at the rim. The watch is with only 25.5mm the smallest half hunting case watch made by Patek Philippe we know of.
