A Swiss, gold, minute repeating keyless-winding pocket watch with chronograph, 30-minute recorder and open face, circa 1901.
This watch has two horological complications: – 1/5 second chronograph (activated by the winding-crown); – Instantaneous 30-minute recorder (subsidiary dial at 12 o’clock).
It has a round-shaped, 18-carat yellow gold, polished case. Case back engraved in taille-douce (fine cut) with the cypher M.C. A white enamel dial with Dauphine numerals, outer minutes/seconds track with five minutes/seconds numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds at 6, 30-minute recorder at 12, and blued spade hands. And a rhodium-plated movement with going barrel, straight-line lever escapement, compensated balance, blued steel hairspring with a terminal curve, index regulator with swan-neck spring,  and micrometric screw.
Dial, case and movement signed. Accompanied by the original fitted box and extract from the Archives dated September 17, 2014, mentioned that this watch was sold on March 5, 1925.
