A gentleman’s highly attractive quarter repeating pocket watch with musical movement, circa 1810.
An 18 carat rose gold, case maker’s punch mark “FM”, gold dial, enamel cartouches, full plate movement, keywind, two hammers and  two gongs, two barrels,
cylinder escapement, three-arm ring balance.
The gold dial is decorated with exquisite engraving around the rim and white hexagonal enamel cartouches. The central enamel medallion with a fine polychrome painting shows a coastal area with a pair of anglers and a fisherman in his boat.
