A fine, very rare, large, custom-ordered, Swiss manual wind yellow gold pocket watch with open face, circa 1910.
Gilt movement, calibre 19, lever escapement. Enamel dial with Breguet-style radial hours, outer minutes track, red 24-hour numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and original blued pear hands. Round-shaped 18K yellow gold case, case back engine turned with blue enamel initials. Dial, case (with enamel initials) and movement signed.

As it was possible at the time, the clients could specify certain details upon ordering their special timepiece. This one was custom-ordered featuring not only his blue enamel initials on the outer case back but also the dial featuring the same design which is rarely seen on Patek Philippe pocket watches.
