A rare Swiss 18K gold and enamel dress watch with jump hours and regulator minutes dial, circa 1830. The front cover is divided into 42 lobes, each decorated with a floral motif in white enamel on a black ground, a white enamel rosette in the centre, the back cover with gold foliage pattern on a black enamel ground with cartouches of white enamel flowers and flower vases, the matching pendant and bow. Silver dial, eccentric polished chapter ring for the minutes with baton divisions and Arabic 15-minute numerals subsidiary seconds, aperture above for the hours with Arabic numerals and blued steel seconds hand. A gilt movement, bar calibre, cylinder escapement, three-arm gold balance, flat blued steel balance spring. Signed on the cuvette.
