Fritz Piguet & Bachmann
The Geneva-based company Fritz Piguet & Bachmann won many medals at international exhibitions and competitions. Company owners were Fritz Piguet and Louis Bachmann; later, the name was “Fritz Piguet & Bachmann, Genève, L. Bachmann successeur”. It was most famous for its highly complicated watches – in 1893, a minute repeater with moon phase, perpetual calendar and chronograph function was delivered to the king of Romania. The company’s “régleurs” were Fritz Piguet and renowned watchmaker A. Favre-Rochat. Maison M. Bader took over the company in 1913.
