Gold open faced lever pocket watch

A very fine and early Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased quarter repeating pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1872. Delivered to chronometer maker A.H. Rodanet in Paris, France. A monogrammed smooth case. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel hands. The fine precision lever movement with wolf’s teeth repeats the hours and quarter hours. Dial signed, case and movement with matching numbers, the cuvette additionally punched with a Rodanet number.
