A very fine Swiss silver keyless pocket watch with a chronograph, circa 1900. A massive case, rounded bezels, the reverse with transparent back to view the movement. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer 1/5 seconds division with 5-second Arabic numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds and blued steel Breguet hands. The movement is stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, Geneva striping decoration, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, swan-neck regulator, chronograph with visible work activated by depressing the crown. Movement signed E.J. Jaccard & Cie.
