A heavy minute repeating Swiss gentleman’s pocket watch with chronograph and box, circa 1880.
Polished 18-carat pink gold case with glazed movement. White signed enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours, subsidiary dial for the Arabic seconds, outer minute track and concentric fifth of a second track with Arabic 25 second numerals up to 300, centre chronograph hand, and gold spade hands. Bridge movement, two hammers, two gongs, gold screw compensation balance.
