Gold open faced keyless lever watch

A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by Audemars Piguet in Le Brassus, circa 1900. With a split seconds chronograph and 30 minute register. A solid, plain case. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals indicating the hours, an outer minute and fifth of a second track with Arabic five minute markers, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock,  a 30 minute counter at 12 and blued hands. A rhodium plated movement with Geneva striping decoration, 23 jewels, straight line lever escapement, adjusted cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and swan neck micrometer regulator. The case and movement are numbered.
