A heavy silver precision pocket watch with split seconds chronograph, made for the Antioquia (Colombia) Railway in Switzerland, circa 1910. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from silver with gold elements and the enamel dial has an outer scale with 60 minute and second divisions, Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, a 30 minute counter at 12 o’clock, blued steel hands and is marked “Ferrocaril de Antioquia” (Antioquia Railway). The complicated movement is fitted with a lever escapement.
