A heavy very fine 18 Carat gold hunter case pocket watch “Grande Sonnerie Carillon Minute Repeater” with original box, made by Zenith in le Locle, Switzerland, circa 1910. The plain full hunter case is made from 18 Carat gold, bears a hallmark and is numbered. The white enamel dial has an outer ring with Arabic numerals for the hours, a subsidiary dial at six o’clock with Arabic numerals for the seconds and blued steel hands. The movement has a precision lever escapement with minute repeater, carillon and quarter hour self strike Grande Sonnerie and a special tandem winding mechanism.
