A very fine and elegant hexagonal 18 Carat yellow gold and jade skeletonized keyless dress watch, made by Audemars Piguet in Genève, Switzerland circa 1980. Two body, solid and brushed case its bezel and bow set with jade and glazed on both sides.
The dial has blued steel feuille hands. Gilt brass, skeletonized and hand engraved movement with 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorbers and self compensating flat balance spring and an index regulator.
Case and movement signed.
