A Swiss 9 carat gold half hunting cased lever pocket watch, hallmarked Birmingham 1927. Spotted gilt split three-quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel, plain cock with polished steel micrometre regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring, club foot lever escapement. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Plain Dennison half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring. Maker’s mark ALD in a rectangle.
