A Swiss lever in a slim decorative gold full hunter case, hallmarked Glasgow (import) circa 1926. Spotted nickelled split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed engine turned white metal dial with subsidiary seconds, black Arabic numerals on frosted ground and blue steel hands. Slim engine turned 18 Carat full hunter case. The covers with graduated leaf patterns flanking a line engine turned center, the front cover with a vacant oval cartouche.
Signed gold cuvette. Maker’s mark ‘JW’.
