A very heavy, Swiss hunting cased minute repeating watch with perpetual calendar and moon phase, circa 1880. 18 Carat gold, polished, à goutte case, gold dome, slide for repeating mechanism, and glazed movement. Enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, three subsidiary dials for indications of the weekday, the date and months under consideration of the leap year, cobalt blue enamelled golden moon phase disc with golden moon and stars, and gold spade hands. Rhodium-plated bridge movement with Geneva Stripes decoration, two hammers / two gongs, gold wheel train, screwed gold chatons, gold screw compensation balance, and counterpoised lever.
