A Swiss yellow gold open faced perpetual calendar keyless centre seconds watch with moon phases, circa 1870, jewelled gilt lateral lever movement, blued steel helical spring, wolf’s tooth winding, with engraved scroll decoration, 18k engraved and engine-turned cuvette.
White enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute divisions, subsidiary dials for day, date combined with leap year indication, and month in Spanish, aperture for moon-phases, 18k yellow gold engine-turned case, quick date change pin next to the winding stem, cuvette and movement signed Hri Grandjean et Cie, Locle, London.
