Unsigned gold repeating full hunter watch

A Swiss 14 carat pink gold hunting cased minute repeating pocket watch, circa 1880. This watch features a frosted gilt movement with a straight line lever escapement, a cut bimetallic compensation balance, a steel balance spring, and an index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. The white enamel dial has radial Arabic numerals, an outer minute track with five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds, and gilt Louis XV hands. The case is made of 14 carat pink gold, complete with an engraved monogram, a plain cuvette, and a hinged case back.

The case is in very good overall condition, showing wear and patina consistent with age. It has light surface scratches. The dial exhibits a hairline at 12 o’clock, passing through the centre arbour, along with some light wear and dust. The minutes are chiming in phase. The movement is running smoothly.
