A fine and rare Swiss platinum, diamond and ruby set open faced lapel watch made by Piaget in Geneva, circa 1972. Manual winding lever movement with 17 jewels. The skeletonized center of the dial with a diamond set rim, and a baguette cut diamond and a ruby set edge. The case with a snap on back and diamond set front bezel. Case, dial and movement signed. Comes with a matching platinum and pavé set diamond and ruby lapel.

Reference 9409. Piaget presumably confirmed that only eight pieces of reference 9409 were produced from 1971 to 1973.
