An extremely rare Swiss platinum hunting-cased square Art Deco dress watch, circa 1920. Retailed by Van Cleef & Arpels. Fine lever movement. Silvered dial with baton hours and outer minute divisions, steel hands. Plain case, spring lid on the inside with monogram LB, French platinum punch, probably made by Verger Frères. Case numbered and signed Van Cleef & Arpels, movement numbered and signed Vacheron & Constantin.
