A fine Swiss gentleman’s pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph, circa 1928.
The 3/4 plate movement is frosted gilt, with very finely matted and bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, ratchet wheel with scissor-shaped double hand tongs, and monometallic screw balance. The enamel dial, signed Longines, has Arabic Empire numerals, auxiliary seconds, and a four-coloured tachy scale. And the polished case is chromium-plated.
