A prestigious Swiss gold, enamel and studded with half pearls powder box with concealed watch, circa 1830.
Bridge movement, cylinder escapement and three-armed brass balance. White enamel dial with Roman numerals.
Square case in the form of a purse which opens up to show a small mirror and powder compartment inside, decorated with engraved foliate scrolls and flowers to both sides, the hinged front cover, finely decorated with translucent cobalt blue enamel over engine turning centred by an engraved flower set with split pearls, conceals the watch.
