–
A rare Swiss gentleman’s skeletonized quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1810. This watch features an engine-turned 18K gold case with a chased band, a PHPN case maker punch mark, and a pusher that enables repetition via the pendant. The dial has an enamel chapter ring with gold applications, Arabic Empire numerals, and a skeletonized centre with blued lozenge hands. The movement is a skeletonized full-plate design that is key-wound and fire-gilt. It has two hammers and two gongs, as well as a three-arm brass balance and an engraved, pierced balance bridge.
