A very rare gold enamel Swiss pocket watch with three automatons and musical movement studded with half pearls Cupid sharpening his arrows of love, circa 1810.
An 18-carat case with engine-turned back. Gilt dial, the polychrome background showing a wooded river scenery with houses builts a harmonious atmosphere for the image of two putti; one sharpening and one forging with synchronous audible blows. Bridge movement, keywind, going barrel, pin set barrel for musical movement, ring balance.
