A Swiss very fine and rare minute repeating gentleman’s pocket watch with quarter hour self strike, circa 1910. This “Grande Sonnerie” has a Carillon with 3 hammers and original box with concealed striking mechanism via pusher.
18 carat gold polished case with gold dome and pusher for repeater at “3”. Silver engine turned dial with Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds and blued spade hands. 1/2 plate movement, seesaw winding, rhodium-plated, with “fausses côtes” decoration, 5 adj., 30 jewels, 3 hammers/3 gongs, 2 barrels and screw compensation balance.
