A heavy Swiss silver hunting cased minute repeating chronograph lever pocket watch with calendar and moon phases made for the Russian market, circa 1900. The movement with a lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, Arabic five minute numerals, outermost fifth of a second divisions, date indication at 12 ‘clock, apertures for the days of the week and months of the year underneath, subsidiary seconds with concentric moon phases at 6, gold Louis XIV hands and a blued chronograph hand. A plain, numbered case.
