Silver lever watch with dedication on dust cover
–
A very fine chronograph pocket watch with register and original presentation box made by Omega in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, circa 1920. This watch was retailed by jeweller Franz Bimmermann in Dresden, Germany. It has a numbered open faced case crafted from silver, an engine turned back lid with the monogram HS in the center and a cuvette with a dedication engraving from 1927. The white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute and fifth of a second track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, 30 minute register at 12 and gilded spade hands. The numbered movement has a precision lever escapement.
The dial and movement are signed.
